Meme Creation (Offline)

Create Memes not Germs, be the King of Quarantine!
  • This is an “on the spot” event.
  • 2 participants per school.
  • A couple of pictures will be uploaded in the website and the participants should add in content, creating a funny and powerful message to the society.
  • Once the participants have finished their meme, they should send the pictures to the mail id asangenesis2k20memecreation@gmail.com

Additional Information

There are going to be three rounds, all on the same day. Meme templates will be uploaded on the website: www.asangenesis.com. You will have to create and send your memes by mail to asangenesis2k20memecreation@gmail.com.

*General Rules*

  • Vulgarity/cuss words shall result in disqualification.
  • Entries shall be disqualified if found to be plagiarised.
  • Participants must submit their entries within the given time limit.
  • Only one entry per participant shall be allowed.
  • For round 1 and 2: The memes should only be in the format of a picture. Video/GIF memes shall not be allowed in the first two rounds.

*Round 1*

A meme template will be uploaded in the website at 10:00 am. You will have one hour to create and send your meme to the given mail ID. No entries will be accepted after 12:00 pm. Our judges will select the top entries and these participants will qualify for the second round.

*Round 2*

Another meme template will be uploaded at 2:00 pm. The same procedure will be followed. No entries will be accepted after 3:00 pm. The top ten participants will be chosen for the third, final round.

*Round 3*

We will upload another template at 4:00 pm. No entries will be accepted after 5:00 pm. In this round, you will have an option of creating a video or a text meme.

Judging of the final round will be recorded. The judge will be seen reacting to the memes. The results will be declared at the end of the video.This video will then be uploaded on the website mentioned above for all the participants to view
